From lights, camera, action to location, location, location! Karman grew up on the east coast in Maryland and Pennsylvania. After graduating from college with a bachelor's degree in psychology, she moved to Los Angeles, CA where she spent over 3 decades in film and television as an actor, costume designer for The Golden Globes and studio exec negotiating deals, working hand in hand with unions to maintain compliance and was on the board of the Screen Actors Guild being very involved in the creation of the first SAG Awards.

When her father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, she made the choice to come back to the east coast and be close to her parents who had retired back to their southern roots. Charleston has always held a special place in her heart and growing up with a Realtor Mother, it felt like a perfect transition and location for her skillset. Karman now resides close to Daniel Island with her sweet kitty Ava and loves the beach and photography as well as real estate.
